Understanding the Time and Glories of the Resurrection Body 1 Corinthians 15:42-49

This Sunday, we will dive into 1 Corinthians 15:42-49 and we want to see how Paul develops the all time significance of Jesus’ resurrection. For Paul, Jesus’ resurrection means not just that he is alive forever more but becomes the entire confidence of our salvation, the certainty of our own resurrection bodies, and that the end times have already broken into us. For Christians resurrection glory is not just a future state to look forward to but already present in us now and today. We also see that this resurrection glory was always the goal of creation. It isn’t God fixing the problem of sin, it is exactly what he planned before making Adam. We want to see how this then affects our work, witness, relationships, fears, and calling.
